GONE MENTAL texts: how it works and how to stop it.
The short version
- GONE MENTAL texts is an optional program of recurring automated marketing text messages.
- You join only by ticking the text box on our form and submitting your mobile number. Joining is not a condition of any purchase.
- Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to cancel at any time. Reply HELP for help.
- We do not share your mobile number or your text opt-in data with third parties for their marketing.
About the program
GONE MENTAL texts is run by GONE MENTAL ("we", "us"). It sends recurring automated marketing text messages about GONE MENTAL. These may include news about our launch and product drops, product availability, offers and, once orders open, reminders such as items left in your cart.
Messages are sent from the number shown in our first text to you.
How you join
You join by ticking the box to receive texts on our waitlist form (or on another form that shows these terms) and submitting the form with your mobile number.
When you do this, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing text messages from GONE MENTAL at the mobile number you provided, and you agree to these terms. Your consent is not a condition of any purchase. You can join the waitlist or buy from us without joining GONE MENTAL texts.
After you join, we will send you one text to confirm. It will tell you how to get help and how to stop.
Who can join
- You must be 18 or older.
- You must be the account holder for the mobile number, or have the account holder's permission.
- At launch, the program is available only for mobile numbers in the United States.
If you change or give up your mobile number, please reply STOP from that number first, or email us, so that texts do not go to the next owner of the number.
Message frequency and costs
Message frequency varies.
Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier charges for texts according to your plan. We do not charge you for our texts.
We send marketing texts only between 8 am and 9 pm in your local time zone, apart from a reply you asked for, such as a HELP or STOP confirmation.
How to stop
Reply STOP to any of our texts to cancel. We will also accept END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT, REVOKE and OPT OUT, and any other reply that makes clear you want us to stop.
After you opt out, we will send one final text to confirm, and then no further texts under this program.
You can also opt out by emailing hello@haveyougonemental.com with your mobile number, or by telling us in any other reasonable way. We will act on these requests promptly, and within 10 business days at most.
Opting out of texts does not unsubscribe you from our emails, and unsubscribing from emails does not opt you out of texts. If you want to rejoin GONE MENTAL texts later, you can opt in again.

Delivery
The program is available on all major US carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Delivery depends on your carrier, your device and your coverage. We cannot guarantee that every message will arrive, or arrive on time.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy at privacy policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal information, including your mobile number.
We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number, or your text opt-in data and consent, with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We share them only with the service providers that help us run this program, such as our messaging platform and mobile carriers, and only so that they can deliver it.
Changes to the program
We may change or end GONE MENTAL texts, or change these terms. We will post any updated terms on this page with a new "Last updated" date. If we end the program, we will stop sending texts under it.
Other terms
Our Terms of Use and Sale at terms of sale and use also apply to this program, including the sections on limitation of liability and dispute resolution. If these SMS terms and the Terms of Use and Sale conflict about the program, these SMS terms apply.
